Khaleej Times

Khaleej Times is a daily English language newspaper published in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is the second most popular English language newspapers published in the region. The UAE’s oldest English newspaper also covers Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

The popular newspaper has now arrived on the Windows Phone Store. The official Khaleej Times app for Windows Phone brings the publication’s coverage of national, international, regional, sports, business, entertainment, science, and technology news to your device.

The app has a neat and modern design and the user experience and navigation is seamless. You can browse to a particular section for news in that domain. The reading experience is smooth, and you can share a particular news feature via email or social networks.

It’s a pretty straightforward app with not many bells and whistles, and unlike many news apps, you can’t bookmark or save articles to read later. The photos section doesn’t offer photo galleries but individual photos of people, events, or news stories. The Khaleej Times app is limited, but works for what it offers.

Download the Khaleej Times app for free for Windows Phone 8 devices from the Windows Phone Store. If you live in the Emirates or want to be informed about the UAE, Arabian Gulf and international developments, it’s a decent app to have on your phone. Give it a whirl, and let us know how you like it.
